Thing 10 - Digital Age Assessment

I did not choose just one lesson, I choose all of my lessons for my target goal.  I plan on using Manhattan if I can get the admistration to get us access email accounts. At the present time I am using google docs. I use google docs to download classroom materials and assignments for parents and students to access. I link the site to my edline account for parents to see. I use google calendar for my personal needs as well as my daily lesson plan assignments. The calendar is great for students to access to see material missed when absent also the students know what is required of them for the month.  The calendar also list school activities and lunch menu for the month. All information is on one calendar. I want my students to enjoy technology and understand that technology is an excellent tool that can be used on many different ways to benefit you. I want to motivate my students to develop their own calendars to work on organizational skills. Other teachers tell me that I am too organized that I have a little OCD, but I just like being prepared. I want to prepare my students for the future.
